How It All Began

Our Founder

India Grace began with a frustration from our Founder, India.

'For as long as I can remember, I have gravitated towards soft, bohemian pieces that I reach for instinctively because they just work with everything. I found myself searching for pieces that felt feminine, timeless and beautifully made, yet so much of what I found was trend-led, synthetic and designed to be replaced within a season.

I wanted to create the kind of wardrobe I struggled to find myself: romantic, vintage-inspired pieces made from beautiful fabrics that could be worn and loved for years.

Inspired by old photographs, heirloom details, antique lace and the effortless femininity of icons like Jane Birkin and Brigitte Bardot, India Grace was born.

Every piece is designed in London with longevity in mind. Rather than following trends, we create collections that feel nostalgic yet modern, special yet wearable. Pieces for women who dress for themselves, who value quality over excess and who believe the most beautiful clothes are often the ones that become part of your story.'

Our Why

We live in a world of constant consumption.

New trends arrive weekly, wardrobes are treated as disposable and quality is often sacrificed in favour of speed. We wanted to create something different.

At India Grace, we believe clothing should be cherished rather than constantly replaced. The pieces you reach for year after year are rarely the trendiest, they're the ones that make you feel most like yourself.

That's why we focus on timeless silhouettes, thoughtful details and limited-run collections rather than fast-moving trends. Our garments are designed to transcend seasons, becoming part of a wardrobe that evolves with you rather than needing to be reinvented every few months.

For us, luxury isn't about logos or exclusivity. It's about thoughtful design, beautiful fabrics and creating clothing that feels special every time you wear it.

Our Commitment to fabrics

Fabric is where every design begins.

The way a garment feels against your skin, how it moves, breathes and ages over time is just as important as the silhouette itself. That's why we only use natural and plant-based fibres.

Many modern garments rely heavily on synthetic materials such as polyester and acrylic. While inexpensive to produce, these fabrics often trap heat, reduce breathability and can release microplastics during washing.

Instead, we choose fabrics that are selected for comfort, longevity and wearability.

Our collections feature natural fibres such as cotton, linen and carefully chosen cellulose-based fabrics including viscose, which is derived from natural wood pulp. These fabrics are valued for their softness, breathability and ability to drape beautifully against the body.

The result is clothing that feels lighter, more comfortable and more wearable throughout the seasons.

We believe beautiful design should never come at the expense of comfort, and that what touches your skin matters just as much as what catches the eye.

Our Suppliers

Behind every India Grace piece is a network of highly skilled pattern cutters, sample makers and manufacturers who bring our designs to life.

We work closely a family run supplier who share our commitment to quality, attention to detail and responsible production.

From fabric sourcing to final production, we value transparency, long-term relationships and a hands-on approach throughout the process. We work within a single region, with our fabrics, lace trims and garment production all sourced and made locally in India. Rather than shipping materials across multiple countries before a garment is made, we prioritise keeping the process close to source, reducing unnecessary transportation while supporting skilled local artisans and manufacturers. This allows us to maintain closer oversight of quality, foster meaningful partnerships and create each piece with greater care and consideration.

By producing in limited quantities, we reduce excess inventory and avoid the overproduction that has become commonplace within the fashion industry. This allows us to focus on creating garments with intention rather than volume.
